Imagine learning tennis from someone who competed on one of the world’s biggest stages.
This summer, that’s exactly what’s happening in Ellsworth.
Coach Terry Bennett, an Ellsworth native and former Association of Tennis Professionals World Tour player, is offering tennis clinics through the City of Ellsworth Parks & Recreation Department. Terry advanced to the second week at Wimbledon, competed internationally for many years, and has spent decades coaching players of all ages and skill levels. Now, he’s sharing that experience with the community where his tennis journey began.
Whether you’ve never picked up a racquet or you’re looking to sharpen your game, there’s a program for you.
🎾 Cardio Tennis
Looking for a fun workout? Cardio Tennis combines upbeat music, fast-paced drills, and hundreds of tennis shots into an energetic fitness experience that improves footwork, consistency, and overall play.
🎾 Live Ball Tennis
Ready for a challenge? Live Ball Tennis keeps the action moving with continuous ball feeding, teamwork, quick reactions, and plenty of friendly competition. It’s a fun way to improve strategy, communication, and court awareness while getting a great workout.
Programs are available for a variety of ages and skill levels.
