The City of Ellsworth seeks a full-time Wastewater Operator for treatment plant duties and collection system maintenance. The position requires availability for on call and rotating weekend duty.
The ideal candidate should possess wastewater treatment experience or a compatible background (plumbing, pipefitting, lab work, electrical, controls) is preferable. Typical duties include working within the treatment plant, sample collection, equipment monitoring. Collection work to include in ground infrastructure and pump station maintenance. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required.
