The City of Ellsworth is sharing important updates to this week’s roadwork schedule. Motorists should be aware of temporary road closures on Grant Street and additional paving work on Bridge Hill. Roadwork hours are 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Monday, October 26 and Tuesday, October 27, 2026 — Grant Street
The Main Street entrance to Grant Street will be CLOSED to traffic during roadwork hours, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., both days. Motorists should plan to use an alternate route.
Wednesday, October 28, 2026 — Grant Street
Grant Street will be closed from Liberty Street to the power substation near the dam during roadwork hours, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Drivers should plan accordingly and avoid the affected section while work is underway.
Tuesday, October 27 and Wednesday, October 28, 2026 — Bridge Hill
Contractors will be paving the cross trench at the top of Bridge Hill. Motorists traveling through this area should use caution, watch for crews and be prepared for possible traffic delays.
