Don’t forget … this Saturday, May 9, 2026, the Ellsworth community will come together to clean Card Brook during the annual Card Brook Clean-Up. The event is hosted by the City of Ellsworth in collaboration with Frenchman Bay Conservancy and the Ellsworth Moose Lodge.
Volunteers will meet at 9 am in the parking lot at Bangor Pipe & Supply Inc., 55 Foster Street to check in, enter a raffle drawing, and receive instructions. Wear study footwear and snacks and supplies will be provided. Stick around for the BBQ following the Clean Up at the Ellsworth Moose Lodge.
Clean-up activities will continue until 12 noon, followed by a cookout next door at the Ellsworth Moose Lodge, 47 Foster Street.
