The Facilities Department at Ellsworth City Hall is responsible for the daily cleaning and maintenance for this 80+ year old building. We also plant and maintain the gardens in the summer, and take care of snow removal in the winter. With our staggered work shifts, the building is manned 16 hours per day, so that we can be on hand to assist both the city staff and the citizens of Ellsworth that visit our facility. In addition to City Hall the Facilities Department is also responsible for maintenance at the Union River Center for Innovation and the Knowlton Park Comfort Station.
