PUBLIC NOTICE

The regular meeting of the Ellsworth Board of Appeals is scheduled for Monday, January 22, 2024 in the Ellsworth City Council Chambers, at 6:30pm to hear public comment and/or consideration on the following request/s:

AGENDA

  1. ADOPTION OF MINUTES: from the November 27, 2023 meeting.
  2. PUBLIC HEARING AND CONSIDERATION: Request of Laura Johns and Carolyn Heller for a variance to the sideline setback reduced from 15’ down to zero feet.  In an oversight by the builder, the home was built on the property line in 2005.  The property is located at 33 Wilder Way on Tax Map 60 Lot 3-6 in the (R) Rural Zone.
  3. PUBLIC HEARING AND CONSIDERATION: Request of William Scott Reynolds for a variance to the sideline setback reduced from 25’ down to 22’.  The property is located at 45 Branchview North on Tax Map 90 Lot 16 in the (DP) Drinking Water Protection Zone.
  4. ADJOURNMENT:

  HEARINGS:

Meetings are held in the City Hall Council Chambers, 1 City Hall Plaza.  Public comments on agenda items are accepted by either emailing to code@ellsworthmaine.gov or mailing to the attention of Code Enforcement by 12:00pm on the date of the hearing for Board Members review.
