On Monday, March 4th, 2024, the City Council convened in executive session to address confidential personnel matters, subsequently voting 6-0 to place the current City Manager, Glenn Moshier, on paid administrative leave. City Councilor Tammy Mote was absent.
Due to state law restrictions, both the City Council and the City are unable to disclose specifics about the confidential personnel discussions. A follow-up Special City Council meeting is scheduled for 5 PM on March 11th. This meeting will also be held in executive session due to personnel matters.
Currently, City Planner Matthew Williams is the interim City Manager. Pending the ratification of the employment contract at the March 18th City Council meeting, Charles Pearce will become the next City Manager starting on April 1st.
