Next Week’s City Public Works Plan:
- There will be grading on Sunset Park & Spindle Road.
- Tuesday, June 17, Public Works will be digging two curb boxes on Birch Avenue.
These tasks should not cause any lane closures, but there will be crews working in those areas.
The State Street entrance to the lower City Hall parking lot will be temporarily closed June 16 to allow for underground electrical work. Detour signage will be posted to direct traffic during this brief closure. See map below:
State Projects update:
Northeast Paving plans to start ditching on upper Main Street towards Washington Junction Road. The Main Street ends of the side streets along the work zone (Carlisle, Maddocks, Spencer, MacDonald) may be closed at times while they ditch in that area…traffic can access those roads via the Union Street end.
