PUBLIC NOTICE and AGENDA for July 2, 2025
The regular meeting of the Ellsworth Planning Board will be held Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 5:30 PM in the Council Chamber at City Hall. Pursuant to 1 M.R.S. § 403-B, the Planning Board has adopted a policy governing remote participation in its proceedings. In the event that public participation through remote methods (ZOOM) is permitted, additional information about accessing the meeting remotely will be posted at www.ellsworthmaine.gov and on the City Facebook page by noon on the day of the meeting. 2. Preliminary Plan Review of a Major Use Site Development entitled Union Farm Equipment for Applicant/Owner Union Farm Equipment. The proposal is to construct an approximately 12,000 square foot building for farm equipment sales and rentals. The subject property is approximately 13.09-acres located at 215 Downeast Highway (Tax Map 16, Lot 32) located in the (C) Commercial Zoning District.

3. Final Plan Review of a Minor Subdivision entitled Spring Lots for Applicant Tom Benson & Owner The Anchorage Irrevocable Trust. The proposal is to divide the 14.5acres into 3-lots. The subject property is approximately 14.5-acres located on Bayside Road (Tax Map 1, Lots 4) located in the Rural (R) Limited Residential Shoreland (LR), Zoning District.
