The City of Ellsworth would like to advise residents of upcoming roadwork that may impact traffic flow next week, July 14th through July 19th, 2025.
Sterling Street Closure Rescheduled for Monday, July 15th
Please be aware that the rescheduled roadwork on Sterling Street will now take place on Monday, July 15th. This work, originally planned for July 8th, will require a complete road blockage in the area of 16 Sterling Street. Motorists should plan alternate routes and avoid this area if possible.
High Street Mulching Operations All Week
Throughout the week, the Highway Crew will be performing mulching operations along High Street. While there are no planned lane closures associated with this work, we urge drivers to exercise caution when traveling in the area. Please be mindful of workers and equipment on the side of the road.
