Our City of Ellsworth Public Works crew will be out and about next week, making important road repairs at several locations. Here’s what drivers need to know!
Monday, October 19, 2026 — Bangor Road Area
Beginning at 8 a.m., crews will be patching the roadway at two cross culvert locations:
- Near George Mary Lane
- At the end of Bangor Road, near Brown’s Communication
Traffic will be reduced to one lane with alternating traffic while crews complete the work.
Tuesday, October 20, 2026 — Grant Street
Beginning at 8 a.m., Public Works crews will be patching Grant Street, working along the road to the dam and back toward Main Street.
This work is expected to take all day, with one lane of alternating traffic in place during the repairs.
Please Give Our Crews Room to Work! Drivers should expect possible delays, slow down in work zones and follow directions from traffic control personnel.
