The Ellsworth Water Department has lifted the Boil Water Order that was issued following this week’s water main break.
Water quality testing has confirmed that the water is safe to use, and residents and businesses on the following streets may now resume normal water use:
- Grant Street
- Liberty Street
- Chapel Street
- Willow Street
- Youngs Avenue
The City of Ellsworth thanks everyone for their patience and cooperation while crews repaired the water main and completed the required water quality testing.
