Our Economic Development Office would like to share this informational opportunity regarding starting a child care business.
The Child Care Business Lab, offered by CEI in Maine, helps individuals start and run successful child care businesses. They work with various people, including parents, grandparents, nonprofits, and partners, to create child care facilities that meet their community’s needs and values. Their program aims to create jobs, support working parents, and prepare children for school.
CEI hosts monthly information sessions to provide guidance on starting a child care business. These sessions occur on the third Thursday of each month from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM EST. The next meeting is September 21st. The program empowers individuals to make a positive impact in their communities by opening their own child care businesses.
