Ellsworth City Hall will close at 12 noon on Thursday, August 27, 2026, to allow City employees to participate in the City’s Employee Appreciation Picnic. City Hall opens for regular hours Monday, August 31 at 7 am.
Our City employees work hard every day serving Ellsworth … maintaining roads and public spaces, responding to emergencies, providing essential services, assisting residents, keeping City operations moving and doing countless things behind the scenes that help our community each day.
Thursday afternoon is an opportunity to bring Team Ellsworth together, say thank you, and give employees some well-deserved time to enjoy lunch and one another’s company.
Please plan ahead if you have business to conduct at City Hall on Thursday. City Hall will be open during its regular morning hours and will close promptly at noon.
