City Solar Request for Proposals

Update 12/13/2019:  As promised, Ellsworth submitted a pre-application request for possible interconnection at the City owned landfill and we are attaching the response from Emera Maine below. Ellsworth wants to remind potential responders to the RFP that we are inviting Net Energy Billing responses that EITHER include solar arrays built on Ellsworth property OR solar arrays built on private land. Also as a reminder, we are not assigning increased value or higher scores to the use of Ellsworth land versus development on private property. As always, thanks for your continued interested in working with the City of Ellsworth.

Emera Maine Pre-Application Report

Update 12/6/2019: Based on questions  from prospective bidders, the City will be submitting a request today to Emera for a Distribution Generator Interconnection Pre-Application Report related to the proposed solar project in Ellsworth. We expect the report by the middle of next week and will share it with all those on our distribution list at that time and post it on the City Website.
