Whether you’re visiting for the first time, planning a weekend adventure, or you’ve called Ellsworth home for years, there’s always something new to discover.
A recent blog post from our very own Twila Fisher, Economic Development Director, highlights the launch of DiscoverEllsworth.org, a tourism and community resource designed to showcase the people, places, experiences, and opportunities that make Ellsworth special. Thanks to the Maine Office of Tourism and the Tourism Marketing and Development Recovery Program grant secured by Heart of Ellsworth and implemented in partnership with the City of Ellsworth – we give you DISCOVER ELLSWORTH!
The site serves as a guide to everything from local dining and shopping to outdoor recreation, arts and culture, events, and seasonal activities. It also helps tell a broader story about Ellsworth’s role as a year-round destination and the gateway to Downeast Maine and Acadia.
What makes Discover Ellsworth especially exciting is that it’s just as valuable for residents as it is for visitors. Looking for a new trail to explore? A local event you didn’t know about? A favorite restaurant to revisit … or a new one to try? You’ll find it all in one place.
As summer approaches and visitors begin arriving in greater numbers, DiscoverEllsworth.org offers a welcoming introduction to our community and all the reasons people choose to live, work, visit, and invest here.
We encourage everyone to take a look, explore the site, and perhaps discover something new about Ellsworth along the way.
