The City of Ellsworth is excited to invite families to Family Fun Night at the Moore Community Center on Friday, March 13 from 5:30–7:00 PM

This free evening (for Ellsworth residents) is designed to bring families together for movement, creativity, and connection — all under one roof.

What’s Happening?

The night will feature:

  • Open Gym
  • Airplane craft with Grace
  • Movie on the big screen
  • Pizza
  • Phyusic: a Physical Education & Music fusion class

One of the evening’s highlights will be a special 30-minute “Phyusic” session led by Danielle Gift, Director of Urban Planning and Development for the City of Ellsworth. This energetic and creative class blends physical movement with music, encouraging kids (and grown-ups!) to get active while having fun.

We’re also hopeful that Peter van Reesema, the new Director of the Ellsworth Community Music Institute, will join in to assist — adding even more rhythm and excitement to the experience.

Why Family Fun Night Matters

Family Fun Night is about more than activities — it’s about building community. It’s a chance for neighbors to connect, for children to move and create, and for families to spend quality time together in a welcoming space.

Whether your child wants to run in the gym, craft an airplane, dance to the music, or simply enjoy pizza and a movie, there’s something for everyone.
