The Ellsworth Public Library is once again partnering with AARP Tax-Aide to offer free income tax preparation assistance for our community. This service will be available Tuesdays, from 9 am to 5 pm, February 3 through April 14, 2026, thanks to AARP’s trained volunteer tax preparers.
Appointments are now open and are encouraged to be made online to help reduce pressure on library staff during the busy tax season: https://ellsworth.libcal.com/appointments/tax
The website includes everything you’ll need to be well prepared for your in-person appointment.
If you’re unable to make an appointment online, you may call the library at 667-6363. A library card is not required to use this service.
