Motorists traveling northbound on High Street toward Bar Harbor should expect the roadway near Pizza Hut to remain reduced to one lane today, Wednesday, August 26, 2026.
Crews poured concrete in the affected area early this morning, but it has not yet had enough time to fully set and cure. For safety, traffic cannot travel over that section of roadway yet.
The good news: all three lanes are expected to reopen in time for Thursday morning’s commute, August 27.
