The City of Ellsworth would like to remind property owners that unpaid FY26 tax bills must be paid by June 4, 2026 to avoid additional collection fees. Beginning after that date, accounts with unpaid balances will receive a 30-Day Demand Notice, which includes additional fees added in accordance with the collection process.
We understand that these reminders are never anyone’s favorite to receive, and we encourage anyone with an outstanding balance to contact the Tax Office as soon as possible with questions or to make payment arrangements. Taking care of balances before June 4 can help avoid additional costs and notices.
