HOLIDAY NEWS! Ellsworth City Hall and all facilities and departments (with the exception of essential personnel/first responders) will be closed on Monday, May 27th, 2019 in observance of the Memorial Day Holiday.

PARADE INFORMATION! – The annual Memorial Day Parade (organized by the local VFW) will take place on Monday, May 27th. Parade participants should arrive at the Bryant E. Moore Center parking lot by 9:30AM, the parade will begin at 10AM and proceed down State Street for a brief wreath ceremony at the Union River Bridge and then end in the Municipal Parking lot between 10:30AM and 10:45AM where there will be another brief ceremony at the Veteran’s Memorial Monument and Garden area on the side lawn of City Hall. (Please plan travel accordingly!)

TRASH TALK! Due to the Memorial Day Holiday on Monday, May 27th trash normally picked up on Monday, will be picked up on Wednesday instead. The Tuesday trash pick-up remains unchanged. Thank you!

SPLASH PAD NEWS! The splash pad at Knowlton Park will NOT be open this weekend (Memorial Weekend) as previously announced. The foot activated sensor pads are not working and the City has had to order replacement parts in order to fix them, we are in hopes that the parts will be received next week and that the splash pad will be operational the first weekend in June!!
