POLL HOURS
8AM – 8PM
POLLING LOCATIONS
✅ Ward One votes in the Upstairs Auditorium at Ellsworth City Hall, 1 City Hall Plaza, and covers the entire downtown area on the east of the Union River.
✅ Ward Two votes at Your Place Community Center, 4 Old Mill Road, behind Sunrise Glass
✅ Ward Three votes in the Gymnasium at the Maine Coast Baptist Church, 867 Bangor Road, on Route 1A and covers north Ellsworth.
✅ Ward Four votes in the Council Chambers at Ellsworth City Hall, 1 City Hall Plaza, and covers the Bridge Hill area west of the Union River.
ABSENTEE VOTING
Absentee Ballots are available in the City Clerk’s Office at Ellsworth City Hall for City of Ellsworth voters beginning on April 28, 2025

Special Circumstances Availability: Starting 6-6-2025 to 6-10-2025
Special Circumstances Include:
✅ An unexpected absence from the municipality during the entire time the polls are open on Election Day (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM);
✅ A physical disability;
✅ An inability to travel to the polls because the voter is a resident of a coastal island ward or precinct;
✅ An incapacity or illness that has resulted in the voter being unable to leave home or a treatment facility.
