PUBLIC NOTICE

A special meeting of the Ellsworth Board of Appeals is scheduled for Thursday, February 6, 2025 in the Ellsworth City Council Chambers, at 6:30pm to hear public comment and/or consideration on the following request/s:

AGENDA

  1. ADOPTION OF MINUTES: from the November 25, 2024 meeting.
  2. Executive session: Under MRSA 405(6)(e) to discuss rights and responsibilities with the Board’s attorney.
  3. PUBLIC HEARING AND CONSIDERATION: To hear and consider whether an administrative appeal filed by Carl Brooks of the Ellsworth Planning Board’s June 5, 2024, decision approving a Major Site Development and Major Subdivision entitled Beals Avenue Multi-Family Housing Development proposed by LB Ellsworth, LLC was timely filed or, if not, whether there is good cause for the failure to appeal in a timely manner.
  4. ADJOURNMENT:

HEARINGS:

Meetings are held in the City Hall Council Chambers, 1 City Hall Plaza.  Public comments, on agenda items, can be made at City Hall during the Board meeting.  Emailed comments are accepted at code@ellsworthmaine.gov by 12:00pm on the date of the hearing, for Board Members review.

Meeting will continue to be broadcast live on the City of Ellsworth, Maine Facebook page and YouTube page; as well as recorded and made available live on Spectrum Channel 1303.
