PUBLIC NOTICE

The regular meeting of the Ellsworth Board of Appeals is scheduled for Monday, September 26, 2022 in the Ellsworth City Council Chambers, at 6:30pm to hear public comment and/or consideration on the following request/s:

AGENDA

1. ADOPTION OF MINUTES: from the June 15, 2022 meeting.

2. PUBLIC HEARING AND CONSIDERATION: Request of Mark and Gretchen Gardner for a Variance to the shoreline setback (CEO determination of the Greatest Practical Extent) for a replacement home constructed in 2016. A letter of ‘No Action’ (dated August 17, 2022) was issued at the requested of the mortgage company, who is now demanding a Variance from the Board of Appeals. The property is located at 194 Graham Way (Tax Map 70 Lot 24), in the Limited Residential and Rural Zones.

3. ADJOURNMENT:

HEARINGS:

Meetings are held in the City Hall Council Chambers, 1 City Hall Plaza. Public comments, on agenda items, can be made at City Hall during the Board meeting. Emailed comments are accepted at code@ellsworthmaine.gov by 12:00pm on the date of the hearing, for Board Members review.

Meeting will continue to be broadcast live on the City of Ellsworth, Maine Facebook page and YouTube page; as well as recorded and made available live on Spectrum Channel 1303.
