Call meeting to order
Introduce newest members (Carol Patterson-Martineau) and City Council Representative (Nancy Smith).
Approve minutes from January.

Work on next year’s budget. Purchase laser Printer
As we begin a new year, let’s review what we have been working on and develop a list of projects we want to pursue in 2024.
Certified Local Government (CLG)
Need to revise ordinance (Chapter 39. Include language re 60 days to fill position on Commission.
Submit annual report to State and City.
Study how to create Historic Districts
Conduct survey of historic properties and present a series of talks about historic designation.
Design mailer about talks, survey. Form a Committee? Matthew in planning can help a lot with this.
General Discussion
Visited “Downeast Graphics & Printing” and discussed the book “History of Ellsworth, Maine” by Albert H. Davis. It may be a good source of income for the Historical Society if reprinted.
