The regular meeting of the Ellsworth Planning Board will be held Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 5:30 PM in the Council Chamber at City Hall. Pursuant to 1 M.R.S. § 403-B, the Planning Board has adopted a policy governing remote participation in its proceedings. In the event that public participation through remote methods (ZOOM) is permitted, additional information about accessing the meeting remotely will be posted at www.ellsworthmaine.gov and on the City Facebook page by noon on the day of the meeting. 2. Preliminary Plan Review of a Major Use Site Development entitled Kingsland Storage Center for Applicant/Owner Bomarc Commercial Ellsworth LLC. The proposal is to construct a 29,200 square foot self-storage building. The subject property is an approximately 1.9-acre lot located at Kingsland Crossing (Tax Map 16, Lot 8) in the Commercial (C) Zoning District.

3. Final Plan Review of a Major Use Site Development entitled Hancock Judicial Center for Applicant State of Maine Judicial Branch and Owner State of Maine. The proposal is to construct a 28,500+ square foot courthouse building to serve as the new Hancock County Courthouse. The subject property is an approximately 17.9-acre lot located at Merrill Lane Extension off Route 1/High Street (Tax Map 21 Lot 15) in the Urban (U) Zoning District.
