Establishment of an Affordable Housing Tax Increment Financing (TIF) District
The Ellsworth City Council will hold a public hearing to be held in the City Council Chambers, Municipal Office Building, on Monday June 15, 2020 at 7:00 PM regarding the establishment of the following proposed Affordable Housing Tax Increment Financing (TIF) District and Program:
Oriole Senior Municipal Affordable Housing Development and Tax Increment Financing District Development Program.
The proposed TIF District and Development Program is being established to help reduce the rental rates in a senior housing project being built on Foster Street and Oriole Way in the high street area of Ellsworth.
Public attendance at the meeting is permitted but because of the COVID-19 pandemic, public access to the meeting may be limited to ensure social distancing requirements are met. The meeting will be broadcast live on the City Facebook page and YouTube page and will be recorded and made available live on Spectrum Channel 1303.
