Franklin Street between Main Street and Store Street in downtown Ellsworth will be closed to all vehicular traffic to set up the Franklin Street Parklet/outdoor public dining space beginning Monday, May 19 2025, at 7AM. This section of Franklin Street will remain closed until at least Monday, October 13.
We hope visitors and residents will enjoy the parklet again this year and appreciate the work City Staff and community volunteers contribute to make it a fun, seasonal park!
Those trying to access City Hall or the Municipal Parking Lot can do so through the State Street, School Street to Store Street, or Church Street entrances. Thank you for your understanding. Any questions, please contact 207-667-2563.
