May 8, 2023 – This announcement serves to notify the public that Franklin Street between Main Street and Store Street in downtown Ellsworth will be closed to vehicular traffic to set up the Franklin Street Parklet / outdoor public dining space beginning Monday, May 22nd, at 7am until Monday, October 16th.
This year, visitors to the Parklet may notice a modified set up on the western side. A limited area will be sectioned off to accommodate construction for the adjacent building. The sidewalk will remain open.
Those trying to access City Hall or the Municipal Parking Lot can do so through the State Street, School Street to Store Street, or Church Street entrances. Thank you for your understanding. Any questions, please contact 207-667-2563.
