The Event will include music, as well as a local community group selling cocoa. The annual Downtown Christmas parade will take place the next weekend on Saturday, December 3rd at 11am along with the official arrival of Santa to Ellsworth. “We hope that many families who are enjoying the long Thanksgiving weekend will come into town for the tree lighting” stated Gretchen Wilson Director of the Chamber of Commerce. “It’s a great way to celebrate as well as show off what our local businesses have to offer”. Atlantic Landscaping will be providing the large tree to be placed in the park.
