Tonight’s regular Ellsworth City Council meeting for Monday, March 16, 2020 at 7:00 PM in the City Council Chambers will be held as scheduled. While the public is currently restricted from accessing city properties as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic, City Hall will be open for tonight’s Council Meeting. We are, however, taking additional precautions, including spacing out the chairs in the Council Chambers, and setting up additional seating in the Auditorium where the meeting can be watched on the big screen monitor, also with spaced seating.
Further, the City will be as always broadcasting the meeting live on Facebook, YouTube and Spectrum Channel 1303, which provides an alternative for those who are uncomfortable attending given current circumstances. For this meeting, under the circumstances, we will also be taking questions remotely via email. If you have a question during the public hearing portions of the meeting you can access the City Website at www.ellsworthmaine.gov/contact/ and fill out the online contact form. Please be sure to include at least your name and phone number and we will call you so you can ask your question. We will also have representatives of Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital on hand tonight to give us the most up to date information on the Coronavirus Pandemic, as well.
