As part of the city’s paving contract, a contractor will be working on reclaiming (grinding) pavement on the Winkumpaugh Road and Branch Pond Road Tuesday and Wednesday (Oct. 8 and 9), in preparation for repaving portions of the roads. The work will be taking place between the Telephone Museum, just past Hansons Landing Road and past Austin’s Hill on Winkumpaugh Road. On Branch Pond Road the work will be from Phillips Way to Wilson’s Way. Both roads will be open to traffic, though motorists can expect delays as the work is taking place.
