We’ve received a few questions lately, so we want to clear this up:
The Ellsworth Recycling Center is OPEN and accepting all regular recycling.
While our primary baler is still awaiting repair, the City is currently using a different baler so recycling operations can continue.
That means you can bring your regular recyclable materials to the Transfer Station as usual.
We appreciate everyone’s patience while we continue working toward a permanent repair — and we hope this clears up any confusion!
♻️ Yes, we’re open. Yes, we’re recycling.
