City Hall Closed

City Hall will be closed on Monday, October 25. 2021 due to multiple staff members testing positive for COVID-19. Emergency services and departments located outside of City Hall will be operating as usual.


The City of Ellsworth is participating with the Hancock County Planning Commission’s “Hancock County Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day”.  The event is scheduled to take place Saturday August 28th, 2021 9AM to 1PM at the Ellsworth High School. Permits are available at City Hall for Ellsworth residents only. Proof of Ellsworth residency is required for a permit.  Below are lists of the Accepted and Not Accepted items for this event.
