City of Ellsworth Tree Lighting
Saturday November 27th @ 5pm
Ellsworth City Hall Parking Lot
Sponsored by Witham Family Hotels

Please join us at the City of Ellsworth’s annual Tree Lighting!

This year the event will take place in the City Hall Parking lot at 5pm on Saturday November 27th. A 25-foot tree from Dee’s Christmas Tree Farm located in Franklin, which is generously being sponsored by Witham Family Hotels, was delivered last week and will be lit up to kick off the holiday season. Families can be there in person, or choose to view it from their vehicles (please make sure your headlights are turned off 🙂) in the City Hall Municipal Parking Lot, or even watch from the comfort of your own home using the City IT Department’s Live Feed of the Tree –

If you are able to be there in person, you can:
• Enjoy FREE hot chocolate & cookies
• Bring your letter for Santa Claus to put in the mailbox to the North Pole (Santa will write you back if you include your return address!)
• Bring an ornament to place on the fencing surrounding the tree in an effort to spread extra holiday cheer in our community
• Listen to and join in on festive carols being sung around the tree. Remember, the best way to spread holiday cheer is to sing it loud for all to hear!

Saturday November 27th also coincides with Small Business Saturday; a shopping day set aside for small local businesses, shops and organizations. Before or after the tree is lit, please consider shopping or dining with one or more of our small local businesses!
