11. Public hearing and action on the following business licenses:
- Stephen Curtin, DBA Steamy Buddha Café, 50 Church Street for a renewal State liquor license Class I, II, III and IV and upgrade to City Class C license from Victualer.
- Ryan Lounder, DBA Strike N Slice, 25 Eastward Lane Suite 6, for a renewal City Class C license and State liquor license Class I, II, III, and IV
- T.C. LLC, DBA Dyon’s, 35 Eastward Lane, for a renewal of State liquor Tennis Club class III and IV.
- Public Hearing and action on Council Order #112000 Request of the City Planner to approve amendments to Chapter 56.
- Discussion and action on Council Order #112001 Request of the Highway Foreman to award a bid for the Red Bridge Road culvert replacement.
- Discussion and Potential Action on Council Order #112002 to accept $32,000 from the Community Resilience Partnership grant program. There is no required matching funds associated with this grant award and the scope of the grant is to fund an evaluation of Ellsworth’s pedestrian and bicycle transportation resources within the downtown area.
- Discussion and Potential Action on Council Order #112003 on applying for the MaineDOT’s Village Partnership Initiative Planning Phase for a planning study evaluating bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure and streetscape design in the City’s downtown area, with a 50% local match allocated from the Community Resilience Partnership grant, funding up to $10,000 from the FY24 Local Roads fund, and funding up to $15,000 from FY24 TIF funds.
- Discussion and action on Council Order #112004 to take over the care and maintenance of Juniper Ridge Cemetery at the request of the heirs of former association members.
- Discussion and action to approve the Arbor Commission applying for a Project Canopy Grant- Sponsored by Hanson
- Scheduling of workshops for the homelessness in Ellsworth and watershed/natural resources- Sponsored by Stein
