Ellsworth, ME — The City of Ellsworth invites residents and visitors to join in the excitement during the inaugural Fire + Ice Festival from Friday, January 31st to Sunday, February 2nd. This exciting winter weekend celebration has a variety of events for all ages, here are some weekend highlights:
Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour
Join The Grand when Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour brings the spirit of outdoor adventure to Downtown Ellsworth. This exciting event brings the spirit of outdoor exploration to downtown Ellsworth with screenings on:
- Friday, January 31 at 7 p. m.
- Saturday, February 1 at 7 p.m.
- Sunday, February 2 at 2 p.m.
Winter Market at Woodlawn
Visit the indoor Winter Craft & Farmers’ Market at Woodlawn, hosted in The Barn on Saturday, February 1 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The market will feature a wide variety of local farmers, artisans, and small businesses. If weather permits, visitors will also have the opportunity to enjoy ice skating and sledding – fun for the whole family!
Fireworks Display
On Saturday, February 1, the City of Ellsworth will present a dazzling fireworks display at 5 p.m. from the softball field at Ellsworth High School. The community is encouraged to enjoy the show from the High School or other nearby locations, including Knowlton Park, the track, or even from the comfort of their own backyards.
Celebrate the Ellsworth Fire & Ice Festival with Live Music at Fogtown!
Join us on Friday, January 31st, at 6 PM for an evening of live music featuring Takoda Dionne.
