The City of Ellsworth is inviting qualified contractors and vendors to review and submit proposals for one of our latest Requests for Proposals (RFP).
This RFP is for engineering services related to improvements along the Route 230 corridor (Water Street/Bayside Road) between Main Street and Beechland Road. The project will include preliminary and final engineering to help bring this important transportation corridor to built status, laying the groundwork for future roadway improvements. The corridor serves thousands of vehicles each day as a key connection between Ellsworth and Mount Desert Island and supports residents, visitors, and local businesses year-round. Construction is anticipated to be completed in phases based on the final engineering and design.
If you’re interested in doing business with the City, we encourage you to visit our online procurement portal to review the project details, download bid documents, and submit a proposal.
