We love seeing good things happening in Ellsworth … and we especially love seeing others take notice!
The Monday, August 10, 2026, edition of Eat Drink Lucky, a Maine newsletter highlighting things to eat, drink, see and do around the state, put Ellsworth in the spotlight. In fact, the newsletter’s title says it all: “Twelve Maine Women.”
The feature highlights “Twelve Maine Women: Portraits of Change,” the new public art exhibit presented by Heart of Ellsworth featuring portraits by Maine artist Robert Shetterly. The exhibit celebrates influential Maine women whose leadership and work have helped shape our state and beyond.
Eat Drink Lucky encourages its readers to make a trip to Ellsworth to see the exhibit at Heart of Ellsworth and also highlights the related “From Grassroots to Governance: How Maine Women Shape Policy and Community” discussion at the Ellsworth Public Library.
We are incredibly proud of our friends at Heart of Ellsworth for bringing thoughtful, interesting programming like this to our downtown and pretty excited to see Ellsworth getting some well-deserved attention across Maine.
