City staff, along with volunteers from Woodard & Curran and Frenchman Bay Conservancy, came together last Friday morning for trail maintenance in the Branch Lake Public Forest.

Maintenance efforts included clearing debris, such as fallen trees, from trails and refreshing trail blazes (wayfinding markers).

We are incredibly grateful for the ongoing teamwork that ensures the Public Forest remains a beautiful place to hike each year! A special thank you to Friend & Friend for providing the ATV rental, making it easier to transport people and equipment along the tote road, and to our dedicated volunteer, Bill Nelson, for his unwavering commitment to the City and nature.
