Please join us in congratulating Sergeant Robert Angelo on his promotion with the Ellsworth Police Department.
Sergeant Angelo has been with the department for five years, serving in patrol before stepping into this new leadership role. He currently serves as our K-9 handler (Tag) and is also a MARC instructor at the Maine Criminal Justice Academy.
Before joining Ellsworth, Sgt. Angelo brought 25 years of experience with the Bangor Police Department, including many years in a supervisory role.
“We’re excited to have Sgt. Angelo step into this position,” said Police Chief Troy Bires. “His experience, leadership, and commitment to mentoring our younger officers will continue to strengthen our department.”
