Ellsworth Fire Department to Host Open House Event for the Community
Ellsworth, Maine – The Ellsworth Fire Department is excited to announce its upcoming Open House event, inviting residents of Ellsworth and surrounding areas to join us for an informative and entertaining open house at our fire station. This event is scheduled to take place at the end of National Fire Prevention Week on Saturday, October 14 from 11 AM to 2 PM at 1 City Hall Plaza, Ellsworth.
The Open House is a perfect opportunity for community members of all ages to get to know their local fire department, learn about fire safety, and interact with our dedicated firefighters and emergency personnel. Aligned with the spirit of National Fire Prevention Week, the Department’s mission is to raise awareness about fire safety and empower residents with the knowledge to prevent fires.
All are welcome to explore the inner workings of a fire station and discover the tools and equipment firefighters use to protect our community. Guests can enjoy refreshments provided by donation from generous local businesses. Learn about fire prevention, emergency preparedness, and get up close to the fire engines and life-saving equipment!
