Please join the City of Ellsworth Planning Dept. and Economic Development Dept. at a public forum to discuss topics related to quality of place and workforce retention such as the availability of housing, transportation, childcare, and diverse economic opportunities.
The program will feature three parts: 1) A presentation from consultants who are working on a Business Attraction & Retention Plan and consultants working on the City’s Comprehensive Plan update; 2) Breakout groups to discuss topics relevant to quality of life and building a future in Ellsworth; 3) Reconvene as a large group to review themes that emerged from the breakout sessions.
Lite fare and snacks will be provided. A big thanks to Darling’s Auto for hosting this event! Kids will be allowed at the event to accommodate working parents.
