Ellsworth Little League and Maine District 1 Little League will be at Demeyer Field in Ellsworth and hosting the State Little League tournaments. Fans can join watch the action start this Saturday, July 15, with a softball tournament. The following Saturday, July 22, the baseball tournament will kick off and the championship match scheduled for Friday, July 28.
During this event over the course of July, fans are asked to park at the softball field located across Boggy Brook Road at the Fastenal Building or park on the dirt road located at the end of the Demeyer Field complex. Parking is not permitted at the University of Maine Cooperative Extension building. The City asks for drivers and attendees in the area to drive safely and allow extra time so everyone can enjoy a fun and safe day out.
