In August, Real Estate and Personal Property tax bills were mailed. Most of you have likely received these bills by now. However, if you haven’t received yours yet, it could be due to a change in your mailing address that hasn’t been communicated to the Assessing Office. To ensure you receive your tax bills promptly and stay up-to-date, please make sure your mailing address is current by contacting the Tax Collection Office in City Hall.
For residents, view and pay your Real Estate tax bill online at https://ww.ellsworthmaine.gov/2024retaxes/ . You can also send your payment to the Tax Collection Office by mail or in-person at the office in City Hall.
Business owners, you can also view your Personal Property tax bill online at https://www.ellsworthmaine.gov/2024pptaxes/. You can send your payment to the Tax Collection Office by mail or in-person at the office in City Hall.
