Cemetery Commission Member Natascha Minze, her son, and several members of a local Boy Scout Troop, spent some time on Saturday, September 13th cleaning up the Higgins Cemetery. All the overhanging limbs, except one that was too high to reach, were trimmed back, the saplings were pulled or cut down to the ground, and the leaves were raked and taken away from the gate-line. They did not touch any of the headstones for fear of doing more harm than good and uncovered two footstones, each with just two letters on them, which were previously known about.
