We’re excited to share that the City has added a new multi-use sidewalk snowplow to our fleet … and right on time we might add!
This new plow will help us keep sidewalks clearer, safer, and more accessible during winter storms.
This versatile unit isn’t just for snow. Throughout the year, it will also be used for:
• Maintaining and mowing trails, parks, and ballfields
• Turf care such as aerating and overseeding
• Trail maintenance and light excavation work
• Seasonal grounds maintenance across the city
In the winter, it functions as a snowplow, snowblower, and rotary snow broom, allowing crews to remove snow more cleanly and efficiently. What does this mean you may ask … safer sidewalks and less ice buildup for pedestrians.
