Sergeant Chad Wilmot, Corporal Shawn Merchant, and Corporal Rob Angelo of the Ellsworth Police Department, along with Captain Daryl Clark, Interim Deputy Chief Tyler Kennedy, Firefighter/EMT Michael “Beau” Parker, and Firefighter/EMT Michael Kaselis of the Ellsworth Fire Department, were recognized by the Maine Warden Service with a Merit Award for their heroic efforts in rescuing juveniles who had fallen through the ice on Graham Lake this past December.
