Notice for Public Meeting on City Manager Search
In accordance with An Act To Implement Provisions Necessary to the Health, Welfare and Safety of the Citizens of Maine in Response to the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency, as enacted to read: Sec G-1 1 MRSA §403-A Public proceedings through remote access during declaration of State of Emergency due to COVID-19, the October 21, 2020 meeting will be held as a Zoom Meeting.
The Ellsworth City Council is inviting citizens, businesses and organizations to a public meeting to be held on Wednesday, October 21st, 2020 at 6:30 P.M. at City Hall. The purpose of the meeting is to gather information regarding what the community believes the major issues and challenges are facing Ellsworth and to express what qualities, education, background and experience the new City Manager should possess to successfully manage the City and to meet the issues and challenges facing Ellsworth.
Don Gerrish from Eaton Peabody Consulting Group will facilitate this meeting. The Consultant will also present an overview of the process that will be followed in selecting the new Manager.
The City Council encourages participation at this meeting by using the Zoom platform for all who would like to express their opinions on this important community process. If you are unable to utilize this platform, limited seating will be available by reservation in the Council Chambers with an over flow in the Auditorium.
