Before bringing glass to the transfer station, simply:
• Rinse the bottle or jar
• Remove the paper label
• Bring the clean glass to be recycled
A quick soak in warm water usually loosens labels in just a few minutes.
That small extra step helps keep the recycling process running smoothly and allows staff to spend more time operating the equipment rather than cleaning it.
